WE MOVE is an organization that utilizes creativity, innovation, and collaborative approaches to improve awareness, diagnosis, and management of movement disorders among people living with these conditions and the professionals who care for them. WE MOVE's mission is to facilitate the communication of emerging clinical advances and therapeutic approaches to the management and treatment of movement disorders.

The mission of the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) is to reduce the burden of neurological disease - a burden borne by every age group, by every segment of society, by people all over the world. NINDS conducts, fosters, coordinates, and guides research on the causes, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of neurological disorders and stroke, and supports basic research in related scientific areas.

The Michael J. Fox Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson’s disease through an aggressively funded research agenda and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson’s today. Information is provided by PD patients for other patients and their caregivers.

The Movement Disorder Society (MDS) is an international professional society of clinicians, scientists, and other healthcare professionals, who are interested in Parkinson's disease, related neurodegenerative and neurodevelopmental disorders, hyperkinetic movement disorders, and abnormalities in muscle tone and motor control. MDS offers an essential link to the new knowledge on diagnostic information, pharmacological and neurosurgical treatments for movement disorders, as well as impaired motor control function.

The European Parkinson's Disease Association (EPDA) is a non-religious, non-political, and non-profit making organisation concerned with the health and welfare of people living with Parkinson's disease and their families and caregivers. This institute is the umbrella organization of Parkinson associations in Europe, which offer support and information to people with Parkinson’s disease and their caregivers. De Vlaamse Parkinson Liga is een patiëntenvereniging die zich inzet voor mensen die lijden aan de Ziekte van Parkinson. De voornaamste doelstellingen van de vereniging zijn: de belangen te behartigen en te verdedigen van de parkinsonpatient, hem/haar voldoende te informeren over de ziekte en de behandelingsmethodes en lotgenotencontact te stimuleren.
