About PDmutDB

The Parkinson disease Mutation Database (PDmutDB) aims at collecting all known mutations in the genes related to Parkinson disease (PD).

Mutations are collected from the literature and from presentations at scientific meetings. In addition, mutations can be submitted to PDmutDB at this web site.

The PDmutDB website was launched in November 2009 as a locus-specific database (LSDB) following the guidelines of the Human Genome Variation Society.

Nomenclature is as recommended by the Human Genome Variation Society. Because the mutations are often better known by other names, aliases are listed.
